Available in capacities from 100kg thru 5t Straightpoint have manufactured since 1987. the Miniweigher plus crane scale offers robust construction, high accuracy, compact size and extreme portability.

Utilized by utility companies on every continent, the Miniweigher plus crane scale is quite often mounted between a winch and a tripod or a davit, allowing the load monitoring and safe lowering and raising of equipment and personnel, and has proven itself to be an indispensable tool for underground sewer, water, gas, and utility vault access.

1. What can you use a Miniweigher for? Where the operator is close to the load and does not need a long range or bluetooth wireless product. With a small Davit or tripod crane, chain or lever hoist for example.

2. Why should you use a load cell? The Miniweiger provides safe and accurate measurement of force or weight to 0.1% on a large 1" LCD display

3. Can I use the load cell in outdoor environments? Yes. It is waterproof to NEMA4X or IP65 unlike most other low cost crane scale options on the market.

4. How is the Miniweigher powered? One, easily-sourced, PP3 9v alkaline batteries provide a life of 80 hours continuous use.

5. Does the load cell arrive already calibrated? Yes. The Miniweigher is supplied with a 12-month certificate of calibration and proof test— and includes a two-year warranty.

6. Is it supplied with rigging? No, but we recommend the Miniweigher is rigged with Crosby shackles and mater links with Gunnebo chain slings or ACCO hoists.

7. What is the Miniweigher made from? The loadcell is manufactured from hight strength EN24T steel. The bow is forged by Gunnebo and the hook by Crosby. The body is from extruded aluminum with a high quality powder coat finish.

8. Does the product comply with ASME standards? Yes, it complies with ASME B30.26.

9. Do you have any Bluetooth load cells? Yes, we have the Radiolink dynamometer available in capacities up to 500t and the COLT which is a load cell that is used to measure the tension on a wire rope. Lastly, CableSafe is a running line dynamometer that measures the tension of a moving electrical or telecommunications cable or a synthetic rope.
